Snow Canyon State Park

All levels of hiking. Enjoy horseback riding, sand dunes and camping.

This hike is a mile+ and is easy for the whole family. Not stroller friendly. Gentle path.
The Legend of the people is told during the equinox.
Temple Quarry Trailhead
300 S Donlee Dr, St George, UT 84770
1871-1874 The Trail (Dugway) was built to access the Quarry on the south west side of the Black Hill. The large lava rock was needed for the foundation and basement walls of the St. George Temple, because the stone was “impervious to the alkali soil”.

Hikes here are at all levels and parking is plentiful. You can spend 15 minutes or hours climbing on rocks, going through slots or just enjoying the view of the city.
Bloomington Petroglyph Park –
1469-1499 Geronimo Rd, St George, UT 84790
This hike is tucked into a neighborhood. There is a short easy hike to a boulder with some petroglyphs on it. Sometimes the elementary classes use this hike as a field trip. This is also great for biking.
